The Black Horse is one of my favourite pubs in Wakefield. The bar staff are very friendly and helpful and always smile making you feel welcome The live entertainment on Sunday was really good but we also enjoy the background music which is to our taste. Love the atmosphere in here and can’t wait to pop in for another few drinks on our pub rounds.

Amazing atmosphere the staff are so accommodating and strive to make the experience at the black horse the best possible. It is an ace venue, great selection of beers and cocktails and without a doubt the best live music in Wakefield. Very rare there isn't something happening. Also the best pizzas around! We love it.

Giving the people what they want - The Black Horse was playing music from the act who were appearing at the theatre nearby which got us all in the mood. Staff were friendly, drinks were good and sound system was spot on, wish mine sounded so great!
